Rashad Evans Speaks Up About Rival Coach Quinton Rampage Jackson |

Might as well start the fight hype now because it will be nothing short of amazing when the two coach’s of the next season’s Ultimate Fighter finally square off. In a recent interview with Fighthype.com, Rashad spoke out about his new rivalry, “I think Rampage wants to be the only one. I don’t know if he wants to be the only brotha. I don’t know what it is. I don’t know, he’s just very competitive with me. I think besides all of that and the fact that he feels threatened by me, a lot happened when we got into each others face at the UFC when he fought Jardine. After that, we got into it on our own time. We got into it on our own personal time. I think that just took it one step further. Not only did we get into it in front of the cameras, but then we got into it when nobody was there; just me and him. That like solidified it, you know?”
“I think that one of his biggest problems is that he’s fallen in love with his power. He counts on his power. He’s like Tyson after he got rid of Kevin Rooney. He just relied on his power because he knew he had it. Well that’s what Rampage is doing. He’s not as well-rounded as he was when he fought for Pride.” Wonder if Kimbo will get involved with the beef during the taping of TUF?

A funeral is scheduled Monday for former boxing champion Vernon Forrest, who was killed last weekend during an attempted robbery that went sour. The service will be at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, just east of Atlanta. It will be open to the public. Watson says notables, including boxers Oscar De La Hoya and Shane Mosley and R&B singer Frankie Beverly, plus many of his adoring fans are expected to be in attendance. The 38-year-old Forrest was found shot to death Saturday night. Police say he exchanged gunfire with at least two robbery suspects before being shot multiple times in the back. Forrest was a former IBF welterweight and two-time WBC junior middleweight champion with a 41-3 career record with 29 knockouts. He was mostly remembered when he became the first boxer to defeat Sugar Shane Mosley.

Odds & Ends, Affliction Meets UFC Once Again, Tito Coming Back To UFC, Rampage! |

With the collapse of Affliction going public, The UFC made quick action to try and acquire a few fighters who began their MMA careers with the UFC, does the name Vitor Belfort ring any bells? Many positives will now come of the Affliction Trilogy collapse for instance, UFC fighters wearing Affliction clothing again, some of the best fighters in the world returning to the Octagon and last but not least Dana White getting one step closer to signing Fedor. While some fighters may feel disgruntled by another MMA organization closing its doors, major UFC fans have begun welcoming the top fighters in the world back, to compete because their really isn’t anywhere else to go… Bitter Rivals yet great business partners, Dana White and Tito Ortiz are back at it again. This time it’s not the hype surrounding a boxing match between the two, it’s the possible re-signing of the Huntington Beach Bad Boy. The only firewall, which is at bay as a rumor right now, is that Tito already signed with Strikforce in exchange for a large share of its Pay-Per-View earnings. That’s the great thing with rumors though because the Henderson Franklin fight was put on hold due to the arrival of another opponent for Franklin, hmmmm Tito? Now here’s a video to break up all the reading, “Rampage” Jackson tells “King” Mo Lawal to stop crying like a little girl! Warning explicit content!
